Established in 2002, The Fire Company is an Australian design, innovation and export success story.


 2004

about-design-mark

EcoSmart Fire launched. Awarded DesignMark at the Australian Design Awards. Retailed in Space Furniture. Featured on ABC’s New Inventors. Australian distribution network established. Distributors appointed in New Zealand, Germany, Austria, US

 

2007

ISO Certification achieved. Distributors appointed in Spain, Japan, Brazil and New Caledonia. Second international conference held Madrid, Spain (22 countries represented)

2008

SITAC and TUV Certification achieved. Distributors appointed in the UAE, Russia/Central Europe and Turkey. Third international conference held in Sienna, Italy (52 countries represented)

2010

Private investor joins The Fire Company to expand the business and growth opportunities. Fifth international conference held in Munich, Germany (75 countries represented). The Fire Company sponsors HKI (a consumer organisation that helps to lobby for safe products and push for norms in Germany and Europe in general.) Awarded Editors Choice Award - Best New Product.

 

2013

SITAC and TUV Certification achieved. Distributors appointed in the UAE, Russia/Central Europe and Turkey. Third international conference held in Sienna, Italy (52 countries represented)

 

 

 

2002

The Fire Company formed. 

2003

Tested Under AGA Guidance with Enertech and Origin Energy.

2005

Global, multi-lingual website launched. Began shipping containers to Europe. Distributors appointed in Scandinavia, Colombia, Hong Kong, France, Lebanon, Canada, Italy

2006


Distributors appointed in Reunion Island, Benelux, South Africa. Awarded ‘Best of Year’ Roscoe Award for most popular innovation in the USA at the Interior Design Awards held at New York’s Guggenheim Museum. First annual international conference held Sydney (seven countries represented).

2009

C-UL US listings and Norme Francaise Certification achieved. European launch of the EcoSmart Fire electronic burner. Fourth international conference held in Sydney, Australia (60 countries represented). Zeta won an Australian International Design Award. EcoSmart also awarded a Hearth & Home Vesta Award and New York House Magazine’s Innovative Green Design Award.

2011

Launch of e-NRG, high quality, clean burning bioethanol fuel, specifically formulated for use in liquid ethanol fuelled ventless fireplaces. (AUS and USA) Head office relocated to Alexandria, NSW Australia. Awarded Good Design Award at the Australian International Design Awards, DesignEx Best New Product, IIDA/HD Award for Excellence - Accessories and Specialities, Australian International Design Award: New Product Award - Decorative Appliance and FINALIST at the Australian International Design Awards.
